German Week plus holiday freezer food? That’s dangerous in the best way.

This week’s ALDI Finds lineup is absolutely loaded with dense German breads, canned fish, chocolate everything, cozy soups, and easy freezer dinners. All prices below are from ALDI’s online weekly specials starting December 17, 2025; your local store might be a few cents different.

These are limited-time ALDI Finds, so once your store sells through, that’s it until the next German Week.

Cart ready? Let’s go snack shopping.

1. Deutsche Küche Egg Spaetzle – $2.49

These 17.6-ounce bags of Swabian egg noodles are a German Week favorite: little bouncy dumpling-pasta hybrids that cook in minutes. At $2.49, you’re getting a big side dish for the cost of a small specialty pasta box.

They’re perfect with browned butter and herbs, or as the base for a quick cheesy skillet meal with leftover ham or sausage. A lot of German Week roundups put spaetzle in their “must-buy” list because it’s hard to find decent spaetzle at this price in regular stores.

2. Deutsche Küche Harvest Potato Soup – $3.15

This big 28-ounce can of soup is thick and creamy, with potatoes, carrots, and leeks. Reviewers say it tastes more like a hearty homemade-style soup than a thin canned one, especially paired with crusty bread.

A single can easily stretches to two big bowls, so you’re under $2 per serving for a quick winter lunch or emergency “didn’t plan dinner” backup. Nutritionally, it hits decent iron and vitamin A per cup, so it’s not just cream and salt.

3. Deutsche Küche Dark Chocolate Wafer Rolls – $2.99

These crisp rolled wafers are dipped on one end in dark chocolate, and people who love them really love them, reviews call out the delicate layers and the not-too-sweet dark chocolate.

At 4.4 ounces for $2.99, they’re cheaper than a lot of imported wafer “cigar” cookies, which often run $4–$6 a can. Serve them with coffee, stick them into ice cream sundaes, or crush into crumbs for a chocolate wafer crust.

4. Deutsche Küche Milk Chocolate Wafer Rolls – $2.99

Same size, same price, just a milk-chocolate situation instead of dark. These lean sweeter and kid-friendlier, but still have that fun layered crunch.

For holiday gifting, these look fancy decanted into a glass jar or tin, but you’re still only out three bucks. Not bad for “I forgot a teacher gift” insurance.

5. Deutsche Küche Dark Chocolate Covered Wafers – $2.99

These are square wafers topped with a big slab of dark chocolate and hazelnut crème, stamped with vintage car designs. Aldi fans rate the texture and thick chocolate layer very highly. Multiple posts give them 9/10 and talk about grabbing them every German Week.

At $2.99 for 6.17 ounces, they come in well below many fancy hazelnut wafer brands that sit closer to $4–$5 for similar sizes.

6. Deutsche Küche Milk Chocolate Covered Wafers – $2.99

Same wafer format, but milk chocolate. The milk version is a bit sweeter and more crowd-pleasing if dark chocolate isn’t your thing.

If you’re building a snack tray, grab one of each and break them up on a platter with clementines and nuts. Everything looks way fancier than the price tag.

7. Deutsche Küche Spritz Cookies – Almond, Coconut, Vanilla – $2.99

These 10.6-ounce boxes come in three flavors: vanilla with a chocolate drizzle, plus almond and coconut where half the cookie is dipped in thick chocolate. Aldi Reviewer compares the coconut version to Girl Scout Samoas (minus the caramel), which is a pretty solid endorsement.

Three bucks for a box of big, bakery-style shortbread cookies undercuts a lot of “fancy” tins at other stores. Use them straight on cookie trays, or crumble over pudding or ice cream for dessert that took about 30 seconds.

8. Deutsche Küche Peanut Puffs – $2.49

If you haven’t tried these yet, grab at least one bag. They’re puffed corn coated in peanut, kind of like a peanut butter Cheeto, and they’re a very normal German snack that feels wild the first time you eat them.

Food writers and Aldi fans keep flagging these as a must-buy. Words like “addictive,” “salty and satisfying,” and “like a Butterfinger in puff form” come up a lot. At $2.49, they’re cheaper than most imported peanut puffs, and they’re perfect for game nights or snack boards where you want something a little different.

9. Deutsche Küche Potato Sticks – Hash Brown Style & Herbs of the Alps – $1.79

Each 4.41-ounce bag is $1.79, and both flavors are basically skinny, super-crispy shoestring potato chips. The Herbs of the Alps version is especially hyped; writers describe them as “hard not to eat by the fistful” with onion, garlic, and parsley in the seasoning.

German-style potato sticks are surprisingly pricey at import stores. Other brands often cost significantly more per bag, so this is the week to stock up if you like crunchy toppings for casseroles or snack mix.

10. Deutsche Küche Apple Strudel – $3.29

This frozen 19.2-ounce strudel bakes up into flaky puff pastry wrapped around cinnamon apples and raisins. Food writers call it “a cozy apple dessert with a long freezer life” and note that it’s one of the standout German Week sweets each year.

At $3.29 for what’s basically a multi-serving dessert, it’s a fraction of what frozen strudel or bakery strudel runs at other stores. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream and you’re done.

11. Deutsche Küche Mushroom and Cheese Savory Strudel – $4.49

The savory strudels are new-ish stars in Aldi coverage, with some articles naming them one of the best fall/winter finds. This variant packs mushrooms and cheese into flaky pastry, making it an easy vegetarian main or side.

For $4.49, it’s an inexpensive way to dress up soup or salad night without turning on every burner. Slice into small pieces for party appetizers, or serve half a strudel per person with a big green salad.

12. Deutsche Küche Roasted Pepper and Cheese Savory Strudel – $4.49

Same price, but this one leans roasted red pepper and cheese. Think melty, slightly sweet filling with crisp pastry.

This works really well as a “meatless Monday” main; just pair it with tomato soup or a lentil salad. Considering that similar vegetarian puff pastry mains at other chains can hit $7–$9, $4.49 is a fair price for a freezer back-up.

13. Deutsche Küche Spinach and Ricotta Savory Strudel – $4.49

The spinach-ricotta version is basically spanakopita’s German cousin: greens and cheese in crisp pastry. Reviewers describe the savory strudels as “bakery-quality” for the freezer aisle, especially when baked until deep golden.

Serve slices alongside eggs for brunch, or with that harvest potato soup for a super-cozy dinner that doesn’t cost much but feels fancy.

14. Deutsche Küche Wheat Bread Rolls – $3.29

This is a 15.87-ounce bag of frozen wheat rolls you bake off at home. They’re on more than one “must-have Aldi December items” list, especially for holiday meals and charcuterie boards where you want fresh bread without babysitting dough.

You’re paying about what you’d pay for shelf-stable dinner rolls, but getting fresh-baked flavor on demand. Keep a bag or two in your freezer for emergency soup nights and last-minute guests.

15. Appetitos Burrata Bites – $4.29

These are little breaded bites filled with mozzarella and cream. Basically burrata in poppable form, 10 ounces per box. At $4.29, they’re solid value for an “impress the guests” freezer appetizer.

They bake up golden and gooey, and they’re perfect with marinara for dipping or alongside a big antipasto platter. If you’ve priced out fresh burrata, you know this is a budget way to get that creamy cheese vibe.

16. Fusia Asian Inspirations Beef and Broccoli – $5.99

This 21-ounce frozen skillet meal has a lot of fans online. One recent review called it a $5.99 dinner that “beats takeout on busy nights,” with a generous mix of beef, broccoli, rice, and a garlicky sauce.

For under six dollars, you get multiple servings with about 16 grams of protein each, and it’s ready in roughly 10–11 minutes on the stove. That’s cheaper than ordering Chinese for one, let alone for a couple of people.

17. Fusia Asian Inspirations Beef Lo Mein – $5.99

Same price, but this one trades the rice and heavy broccoli for lo mein noodles, beef, bok choy, onions, and carrots in a similar garlic soy sauce. Reviews mention very tender beef and a quick cook time, making it a good “pasta but make it takeout-style” option.

If you’re feeding teens or big eaters, stretching this with extra steamed veggies or a handful of cooked noodles keeps cost-per-person low without extra work.

18. Fusia Asian Inspirations Sesame Ginger Chicken Skillet – $5.99

This 21-ounce bag brings tempura-style chicken with veggies in a sweet sesame-ginger sauce. Reviewers say it’s heavy on sweet and light on ginger but still a satisfying freezer stir-fry, with a decent chicken-to-veggie ratio.

Serve it over rice or noodles, and you’ve got an easy weeknight dinner for less than the price of a single restaurant entrée.

19. Fusia Asian Inspirations Sweet Teriyaki Chicken Skillet – $5.99

Another 21-ounce skillet meal, this one with tempura chicken and veggies in a mildly spicy, wasabi-laced “teriyaki” sauce. Some reviewers wish the flavor leaned more classic teriyaki and less salty, but still call it a decent, protein-heavy freezer meal.

If you like sauce-y stir-fries and don’t mind adding a handful of your own veggies or a splash of extra soy/sugar to tweak the flavor, this is an inexpensive, fast base to work from.

20. Specially Selected Frozen Spaghetti Arrabbiata – $3.69

This is a 16-ounce frozen pasta meal in a spicy tomato sauce, think “lazy night but still a real dinner.” At $3.69, it’s cheaper than most frozen pasta entrées at big-box stores, and you’re getting a full pound.

Top with extra grated cheese or toss in leftover meatballs (keep reading!) and a bagged salad, and you’ve just fed two people pretty cheaply with basically no prep.

21. Specially Selected Frozen Spaghetti Al Limone – $3.69

Same size and price, but bright lemony cream sauce instead of tomato. This one’s great if you’re into lighter, citrusy pasta and don’t want to wrangle cream sauce on a weeknight.

Add a handful of frozen peas or broccoli, or pair it with that black tiger shrimp below for a surprisingly fancy lemon-shrimp pasta that did not cost restaurant money.

22. Bremer Swedish Meatballs – $4.99

This 26-ounce bag gives you about 52 fully cooked meatballs made with beef, pork, and chicken. People in Aldi fan groups rave about these as an easy base for “better than IKEA” Swedish meatball dinners when they don’t feel like cooking from scratch.

Use them with gravy over egg noodles or mashed potatoes, or toss a few into that harvest potato soup to turn it into a full meal. Price-wise, you’re paying less than many name-brand frozen meatballs and getting a big bag.

23. Black Angus Original Premium Beef Meatballs – $13.99

These are your upgrade option: big, premium beef meatballs that are very much aimed at party platters and fancier pasta nights. The bag is larger and the price higher, but if you’ve checked out gourmet, all-beef frozen meatballs elsewhere, $13.99 is in line or lower per ounce.

They’re perfect for slow-cooker marinara and meatball subs or as a shortcut for homemade meatball stroganoff when you want something nicer than basic frozen meatballs.

24. Black Angus Italian Premium Beef Meatballs – $13.99

Same price, but these come pre-seasoned Italian-style, ready for spaghetti or sub sandwiches. You’re paying for better meat and seasoning here, so they’re a smart “bridge” between cooking from scratch and grabbing a bag of the cheapest option.

Use them with that arrabbiata spaghetti or slice onto homemade pizza. Lots of flavor, zero meatball rolling.

25. Specially Selected Black Tiger Shrimp – $13.99

This 16-ounce bag of extra-colossal black tiger shrimp is one of those Aldi Finds that people get weirdly emotional about. Bloggers and home cooks call them “meaty, tender, and flavorful,” and multiple posts say they’re some of the best shrimp-quality you can get at a discount grocer.

At $13.99 for a pound of very large shrimp, they beat or match many “fancy” shrimp bags at other chains, which often sit closer to $15–$18. Thaw gently in cold water, then pan-sear with garlic, or poach in butter and white wine for a fast, company-worthy meal.

26. Season’s Choice Eggplant Cutlets or Eggplant Fries – $4.99

Both cutlets and fries are 16-ounce bags at $4.99. The cutlets are Italian-breaded slices that food writers keep raving about for no-fuss eggplant Parm and sandwiches. One article literally says they’re the ALDI Find they “never pass up” for easy dinners.

The eggplant fries are veggie “fries” that crisp up beautifully in the oven or air fryer and make a fun swap for potato fries. Both items get a lot of “don’t sleep on these!” love from Aldi fans, and they’re usually priced lower than similar veggie fries or breaded eggplant options at other stores.

Use the cutlets in layered casseroles and the fries as a side dish with burgers, and you’ve got two very easy ways to sneak more veggies into winter comfort food.
