I’m a day late, but I’m putting out my roundup of this week’s best ALDI Finds food deals, and they are peak Christmas season deliciousness! Panettone, brioche Christmas trees, party bites, hot cocoa everything. I went through the current “This Week’s ALDI Finds” and pulled out 30 food deals that are actually worth tossing in your cart, not just “cute packaging, sad flavor later.”

1. Priano Traditional Panettone with Orange Peel & Raisins – $7.15
At $7.15 for a 26.5-ounce loaf, this Priano panettone is one of the best-value holiday desserts on the shelf. It’s imported from Italy and loaded with raisins and candied orange peel, which is exactly what you want from a classic panettone.
Panettone is a project to bake at home – we’re talking days of proofing and even hanging the bread upside down so it doesn’t collapse. High-end loaves easily run $25–$80 each from fancy bakeries. Serve thick slices with coffee, or turn leftovers into over-the-top French toast or bread pudding.
2. Priano Chocolate Chip Panettone – $7.15
Same price, same 26.5-ounce size, but this one swaps fruit for chocolate chips. If your crew side-eyes dried fruit, this is the panettone that actually disappears instead of sitting on the counter all month.
Reviewers who’ve tried both flavors say the chocolate chip loaf is just as airy and buttery as the traditional version, with little pockets of melty chocolate instead of candied peel. 3. Specially Selected Chocolate Chip Brioche Bread Christmas Tree – $7.49
This is basically a giant, pull-apart brioche loaf shaped like a Christmas tree, studded with chocolate chips. For $7.49 and just under 20 ounces, you’re getting rich, buttery bread that tastes like dessert but passes as breakfast.
Warm it in the oven, dust with a bit of powdered sugar, and you’ve got a centerpiece that looks like you went to an artisan bakery. If you’ve ever priced out similar shaped brioche at specialty stores, $7–$8 is very reasonable for this size. Slice it into wedges for brunch or cube it up for a ridiculous chocolate-chip bread pudding.
4. Specially Selected Vanilla Cream Brioche Bread Christmas Tree – $7.49
If you’re more vanilla-leaning, the twin to the chocolate chip tree is filled with vanilla cream. Same price, same Christmas-tree shape, but a softer, custardy vibe inside.
This one screams Christmas morning with coffee. You can also slice, toast lightly, and top with berries or a drizzle of that ALDI honey sampler (hang tight, that’s down below). Leftovers make the most extra French toast you’ve had all year.
5. L’oven Fresh Cranberry Orange Breakfast Bread – $3.99
For $3.99 and a full 20-ounce loaf, this cranberry orange breakfast bread gives you that bakery-case feel without paying bakery prices. It’s loaded with orange flavor and bits of cranberry, so it works for brunch or an afternoon snack with tea.
Use it as-is, or toast slices and spread with cream cheese or butter. You can also cube it, dry it slightly in the oven, and turn it into a sweet bread pudding if it starts to go stale. Compare that to specialty loaves at big-box bakeries that often run $5–$7 for a similar size.
6. L’oven Fresh Gingerbread Breakfast Bread – $3.99
Same price, same size, but this one is all about warm gingerbread spice. It’s the kind of loaf that makes your whole kitchen smell like cookies when you toast it.
I’d serve this with a smear of softened cream cheese and a sprinkle of cinnamon. You can also slice and dry it, then use it as the base for a trifle layered with pudding and whipped cream. For under four dollars, it’s a low-effort way to add something special to holiday breakfasts.
7. Specially Selected Cranberry Orange Mini Scones – $5.79
These mini scones are frozen, so you can bake off only what you need. A 5.79 box gives you a tray of bite-sized, lightly glazed scones with cranberry and orange – think coffee-shop pastry without the $3-a-piece price tag.
They’re perfect for brunch platters, Christmas morning grazing, or tossing into a basket with jam and coffee as a quick gift. A food magazine even highlighted ALDI’s seasonal scones as a standout holiday find, which tracks with the flavor combo and price.
8. Specially Selected Blueberry Mini Scones – $5.79
Same idea, different fruit. The blueberry version is more “year-round cozy” than holiday-specific, so if you’re trying not to overload everything with cinnamon and clove, this is a nice balance.
Stash a box or two in the freezer for surprise guests or lazy winter weekends. Because they’re portioned already, you can bake three or twelve without any waste, which is one of my favorite ways to use ALDI’s freezer-bakery items.
9. Sundae Shoppe 3-Pack Holiday Gelato Flights – $4.29
This is one of the most fun things in the freezer right now. For $4.29, you get three single-serve cups of gelato in Pumpkin Pie, Candy Cane, and Eggnog flavors, imported from Italy.
A detailed review broke down the cost to about $1.43 per serving and called all three flavors “very good,” with special love for the pumpkin and candy cane cups. Set them out as a dessert flight after dinner, or split one with a partner if you just want a taste of something festive without committing to a whole carton.
10. Sundae Shoppe Peppermint Bark Ice Cream – $2.49
For $2.49 per pint, this is a very budget-friendly way to get that classic peppermint bark flavor into dessert. You’re getting mint, chocolate, and creamy ice cream in one, and the price undercuts a lot of name-brand seasonal pints that regularly sit at $4–$6.
Scoop it over brownies, swirl it into homemade milkshakes, or sandwich it between ALDI’s holiday sugar cookies for a DIY ice cream sandwich situation.
11. Sundae Shoppe Maple Pecan Ice Cream – $2.49
Same price, but this one leans fall-winter cozy instead of strictly Christmas. Maple plus pecans is basically “candied nuts in ice cream form.”
It’s lovely on its own, but it also pairs really well with the panettone or brioche loaves above. A scoop over a warm slice of maple-pecan French toast (made from leftover breakfast bread) is dangerous in the best way.
12. Belmont Winter Cheesecake Sampler – $12.99
This 40-ounce cheesecake sampler is meant for sharing. For $12.99, you get multiple wintery flavors in one big dessert – usually some combo of classic, chocolatey, and fruity pieces.
If you’ve looked at bakery cheesecakes lately, whole cakes easily start at $15–$25 in many grocery stores. A dozen or so pre-cut slices at just over a dollar each is solid value, especially when you’re feeding a crowd and don’t want to bake.
13. Specially Selected Holiday Assorted Macarons – $7.99
Macarons are fussy to make, and bakery prices reflect that. ALDI’s 18-count frozen box runs $7.99, which puts each cookie at around 44 cents – way less than the $1–$2 per piece you usually see at bakeries or fancy grocery stores.
They thaw quickly on the counter and make a pretty dessert plate or gift tin filler. Mix them with some of the chocolate gift boxes further down and you’ve got an instant dessert board.
14. Bake Shop Gingerbread Cookie Sandwiches – $4.99
This one’s simple but fun: gingerbread cookies sandwiched around a creamy filling, 12 to a package for $4.99.
They’re perfect for kids’ parties, cookie trays, or sneaking with coffee after everyone goes to bed. You can also crumble a couple over ice cream or layer them in a trifle if you want to cheat your way to a “homemade-ish” dessert.
15. Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes – $3.16
These are pure nostalgia. A box runs about $3.16, and you’re getting that classic golden cake with creme filling and white icing decorated like Christmas trees.
People online basically hoard these every year, and there are whole fan communities making dessert hacks with them: trifles, ice cream sundaes, even milkshakes. If you grew up with them, this is the week to stock the pantry and avoid paying marked-up prices at smaller stores.
16. Little Debbie Christmas Tree Brownies – $3.16
Same price, but chocolate. You get brownie-style cakes iced and decorated like trees.
They’re not pretending to be fancy. They are perfect for last-minute classroom treats, kids’ cocoa parties, and decorating platters alongside more homemade things. No shame in mixing store-bought and from-scratch when you’re trying to stay sane in December.
17. General Mills Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch Cereal – $3.68
At $3.68 a box, this cereal gives you the crunchy cinnamon-toast texture people love from the original, but in a sugar cookie flavor with little “frosted” pieces.
It’s obviously cereal, but it also works great as a snack mix base. Toss with pretzels, holiday M&M’s, and a drizzle of melted white chocolate, then let it set on parchment for an easy party mix. Similar limited-edition cereals from other stores usually sit around the same price, but ALDI’s ad can edge a bit lower depending on your area.
18. General Mills Grinch Vanilla Toast Crunch – $3.68
Same price, but themed around the Grinch with a vanilla flavor. It’s one of those boxes kids will zero in on immediately.
Use it the same way as Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch – bowls for breakfast, or crushed as a crunchy topping for cupcakes, pudding cups, or ice cream. If you’re doing a Grinch movie night, this is low-effort on-theme food.
19. liveGfree Holiday Gluten Free Donuts – $4.99
There are three flavors in the freezer case right now: Pumpkin, Cranberry, and Gingerbread, each at $4.99 per box.
Gluten-free baked goods can get expensive fast. A lot of GF donut packs at other stores run $6–$8 for similar sizes. These are clutch if you’ve got gluten-free folks coming over and don’t want them stuck with plain fruit while everyone else eats cookies. Warm them gently in the oven or air fryer to get that fresh-bakery texture back.
20. Appetitos Caramelized Onion & Gouda Mini Puff Pastries – $4.99
For $4.99, you get 12 mini puff pastry bites filled with caramelized onion and Gouda – basically fancy hors d’oeuvres straight from the freezer aisle.
They bake up golden and flaky in just a few minutes, and a recent write-up on seasonal ALDI Finds called these out as a perfect holiday-party appetizer. Serve them on a little board with nuts, olives, and cheese, and nobody’s going to guess they came out of a box.
21. Appetitos Cranberry & Feta Mini Puff Pastries – $4.99
Same format, different filling. The cranberry-feta version leans sweet-tart and looks extra festive thanks to the bright red filling.
These are ideal when you want a vegetarian option that still feels special. Mix them with the onion-Gouda flavor on one platter so folks can choose what they like. If you’re hosting more than once this month, it’s worth grabbing a couple of boxes for the freezer.
22. Appetitos Mini Franks Wrapped in Pastry – $4.99
Pigs in blankets never last long at a party. This box runs $4.99 and gives you a tray of mini franks wrapped in dough, ready to bake.
Serve them with mustard, ketchup, and maybe a quick honey-mustard dip made from that honey sampler you’re totally buying later. They’re not fancy, but they’re the kind of thing that keeps people happy while the “real” dinner runs late.
23. Appetitos Mac & Cheese Bites – $3.19
For $3.19, you get crispy-coated bites of mac and cheese that are basically kid- and adult-bait in one box.
These are great as a side for soup or chili, or as part of a “snack dinner” night when you throw a couple of different freezer apps on a tray and call it good. Considering similar products from name brands can cost $5–$6 per box, this is a nice cheap thrill.
24. Fusia Asian Inspirations Steamed Dumplings – $2.99
Both the chicken and pork steamed dumplings are back in the ALDI Finds section at $2.99 per 6-count box.
You can microwave them or steam them quickly, then serve with soy sauce, chili oil, or a splash of rice vinegar. They’re handy for “I need something hot now” lunches or to bulk out a snack board. Frozen dumplings at other chains often run $4–$7 for similar sizes, so this is a good stock-up price if you like them.

25. Bremer Bite-Sized Mini Corn Dogs – $6.39
This 40-ounce bag (approximate size listed online) of bite-sized corn dogs comes in at $6.39, which is a lot of snacks for the money.
They’re freezer gold for winter game days and kids’ sleepovers. Bake them until crisp, throw some ketchup and mustard on the side, and you’ve got a low-effort main that feels like fair food in the living room.
26. Park Street Deli Sirloin Steak Tips with Chimichurri – $9.89
At $9.89 for a 16-ounce tray, these sirloin steak tips with chimichurri sauce are a nice “I want something better than takeout but still easy” option. The steak comes pre-seasoned with a bright, garlicky chimichurri.
You can serve this over rice, tuck it into warm tortillas with shredded lettuce, or pair it with roasted potatoes and a salad. If you’ve checked prices on marinated steak tips at butcher counters lately, they often land well over $10 per pound. This makes ALDI’s version feel pretty fair.
27. Specially Selected Rosemary & Garlic Lamb Leg Roast – priced per pound (around $18 in the online example)
ALDI lists this lamb leg roast as a price-per-pound item, with the sample roast online coming in around $18 and change depending on weight.
Lamb is usually a splurge meat, but grabbing it as an ALDI Find can shave a bit off what you’d pay at many traditional grocers. This is a great option if you want something a little different from ham or turkey for a holiday meal. Roast it with potatoes and carrots, then use leftovers in wraps, grain bowls, or shepherd’s pie.
28. Specially Selected Sheep’s Milk Cheese Logs – $2.49
There are three flavors of these little 4-ounce sheep’s milk logs: Original, Lavender Honey, and Fig Chili, all at $2.49 each.
Sheep’s milk cheeses are usually pricier specialty items, so seeing them under three dollars is wild in a good way. They’re perfect for cheese boards: the Original for purists, Lavender Honey for something floral-sweet, and Fig Chili for a sweet-heat combination. Spread them on crackers, tuck slices into sandwiches, or crumble over salads.
29. Specially Selected Honey Sampler Variety Pack – $8.99
This gift-ready pack includes six mini jars: Lavender Flower, Orange Blossom, Acacia, Spanish Forest, British Wild Flower, and Manuka MGO 50, for $8.99.
It’s made for tasting flights. Drizzle different honeys over yogurt, toast, or cheese and see what you like. Similar multi-honey samplers from gourmet brands can easily hit $15–$25. This one doubles as a gift and a pantry upgrade.
30. Southern Grove Winter Trail Mixes – $10.99
There are a few flavors here: Hot Cocoa, Peppermint Mocha, and Caramel Crème Brûlée, all around 17–22 ounces and priced at $10.99.
The Hot Cocoa mix, for example, is loaded with yogurt-flavored marshmallow bites, brownie bites, sweet cream almonds, and chocolate-covered nuts – basically dessert disguised as trail mix. These are great in small bowls for movie night, in jars as gifts, or sprinkled over ice cream. Big, candy-heavy mixes like this often cost more ounce-for-ounce at other chains, especially when they’re branded or “gourmet.”
